Sage can help address anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and burnout, guiding an individual toward greater self-compassion and resilience. Meet Kayden Rodriguez
(he/him or they/them)
Kayden Rodriguez is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in Tampa, Florida, dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and other marginalized communities. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Kayden moved to Tampa in 2012 to study Digital Art at The University of Tampa. It was there, through leadership with UTampa Pride, that their passion for advocacy and community-building blossomed, inspiring a shift toward a career in social work.
Since earning a Master of Social Work in 2022, Kayden has combined their creative background and clinical expertise to provide trauma-informed, client-centered care. Utilizing an eclectic approach of social work theories and mental heal therapies, they create a safe, collaborative space for clients to heal and thrive.
As part of Just Be Rooted, Kayden works to empower clients while fostering inclusivity and resilience. Outside of therapy, they serve as President of the Tampa Bay International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, enjoy attending concerts, and spending time with friends.
